The Cortese grape thrives in the rich, warm soils in southern Piedmont and Francesco Rinaldi use of their winemaking expertise further north in Barolo to produce this Gavi wine of real attraction. The wine spends 10 days in cold fermentation which preserves the delicate fruit character of the Cortese grape. After a couple of months settling in stainless steel, the wine is bottled and released, best consumed within a couple of years!
