All the joy of a proper bottle-fermented sparkler, with that crisp Jura zip. Made traditional method with second fermentation in bottle and a minimum of 12 months on lees, this is 100% Chardonnay delivering fine, persistent bubbles and a palate that’s fruit-forward yet beautifully brisk. On the nose it’s vibrant and clean—think citrus, apple and a little exotic-fruit lift—then it snaps into a fresh, mouthwatering finish that keeps you reaching for the next sip (and the next canapé). A dead-easy yes for shellfish, grilled or poached white fish, and soft cheeses (a Comté moment wouldn’t be out of place here, given the Jura setting).
Domaine Jean-Luc Mouillard is a family run winery in the Jura region of Eastern France. Located between Burgundy and the Swiss border, Jura is France’s smallest wine region and is home to some of the country’s most distinctive wines.
