Maison Étoilée Côtes de Provence Rosé is predominantly made from Grenache and Cinsault, but also includes small amounts of Syrah, Tibouren, Mourvèdre, Cabernet Sauvignon, Rolle and Carignan too. After harvesting, the grapes go through a short period of cold maceration, a method of extracting subtle color and flavour components from the grape skins. After pressing, the must (unfermented grape juice) is put into stainless steel tanks where it is fermented. The wine stays in the tank after fermentation to mature on the lees, until its ready to bottle and release.
Chill right down in the fridge and pour yourself a large glass! This smooth and refreshing rosé is a great aperitif wine or perfect for enjoying with charcuterie, soft cheeses such as feta, shellfish or grilled vegetables. An idyllic match with Spaghetti Vongole! Pale pink rosé has fast become a national favourite drink and nowhere is more famous for this style than Côtes de Provence. The picturesque region of Provence in the South of France has been producing wine for over 2600 years. This makes Provence France’s oldest wine region! With lots of sunshine, heat and very little rain, Provence is a very popular holiday destination but also a perfect climate for making quality rosé, which contributes over 80% of the region's total production.
