About this Red Wine
Dark fruit aromas, dried herbs, and intense earthy notes. Interwoven with tertiary aromas of mushrooms and leather. Dark fruit follows through on the palate; blueberries, black cherries, and blackcurrants. Deliciously smooth and silky in texture. The wine is juicy and shows elegance and good integration of all the elements. A quintessential example of the true Gaglioppo grape!
The Gaglioppo grapes are hand-harvested, no herbicides or chemicals are used at any stage of the production process. 5 days of maceration on the skins. The wine is spontaneously fermented using indigenous yeasts, in stainless steel and aged for 24 months. Bottled without clarification or filtration.
