This is Pinot Gris gone rogue—in the best way possible. Born from a small batch and given time on skins, this Sussex-made orange wine is wild, dry, and full of personality. It’s like your favourite indie film: a little edgy, totally original, and impossible to forget. Bright, mouth-watering acidity kicks things off, followed by a textured grip of crunchy tannins that keep things lively. The palate bursts with flavour—think rose petals tossed over a bowl of juicy red berries, with a whisper of oak bringing those cosy, woody undertones from its time in barrel. It’s energetic and full of tension (the good kind). Give it a little time and it’ll stretch out, mellow, and show off even more of its inner charm. Quirky, complex, and completely drinkable—this is Sussex orange wine with attitude.
Devoted in equal parts to wine, art, and nature, Artelium Wine Estate is the brainchild of Mark Collins and Julie Bretland. Previously both working in the tech industry, they left their careers to pursue a more hedonistic lifestyle. Unable to commit to just one of their three great passions, they decided to combine them—thus, Artelium was born, a space for people to come together and enjoy wine and art in a beautiful natural setting.
