Owned by the Baron sisters, Claire (Sales Manager), Lise (Viticulturalist) and Aline (Winemaker), they are the third generation to run the estate since its establishment in 1947, by their grandfather Albert Baron. Jean de la Fontaine is a pioneering estate and sustainability is key to their ethos, they were amongst the very first wineries in Champagne to receive their Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne and High Environmental Value (HEV) certifications.
