Sour cherry, raspberry, liquorice and dried oregano aromas pop out of the glass, calling you to take a sip. Light, elegant and with that velvet drinkability, this Valpolicella is bright and full of life! Freshly picked cherries, wild strawberry and cranberry all appear at the first taste but they soon give way to a more savoury character of aniseed and sage which opens this wine up to a host of food pairings. The finish is savoury and smooth with very light, pleasant tannins. Pasta al pomodoro would be a great match, as would peppered salami. We suggest you enjoy this bottle lightly chilled.
Made only using stainless steel and maintaining cool temperatures throughout vinification, this Valpolicella Classico is all about elegant and pure fruit character which it delivers in abundance!
