Tenuta di Tavignano is a family run winery located in the heart of the Marche region, on the Eastern coast of Italy. Today the estate is managed by Ondine de la Feld, who since taking over from her uncle in 2014, has made huge progress in establishing this estate as a top Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi producer. Verdicchio is without doubt one of Italy’s most important native grape varieties and nowhere is it more prevalent than in the Marche. A vigorous grape, that thrives in these hilly vineyards of clay and limestone soils, and coastal influences from the proximity to sea. From light and easy drinking dry whites to more complex examples which transform phenomenally with age, this versatile variety has become an iconic Italian style.
