About the wine

Fresh, elegant, and well-integrated, yet complex, full-bodied and brooding. This feisty red has notes of ripe black cherry, dried thyme, fig, and white pepper. Rich, slightly smoky, and mineral, with soft tannins and a long, lingering finish. Organic producer, Elena Fucci has 6 hectares of Aglianico vines, which surround her family home, as part of Contrada Solagna of Titolo at the foot of Mount Vulture in Basilicata. This unique, fertile land is made up of volcanic soils, rich in minerals, which makes for ideal conditions for growing quality Aglianico.
