2019 Primitivo, Caiaffa - Puglia, Italy
Certified organic. This is bright and vibrant with red berry character and a freshness not always found in other Primitivos. A hint of flowers and spice on the finish for a real smooth, easy drinker!
2019 Barbera d'Asti 'Solo Acciao', Montalbera - Piesmont, Italy
Unusually for Barbera, this wine spends no time in oak barrel. This means it retains its fresh fruit character and its beautiful, round mouthfeel comes from smart treatment of grapes. This is medium bodied with ripe, cherry fruit character and a bright acidity that will pair perfectly with ragù or grilled meat.
Rosso Piceno is a blend of Montepulciano and Sangiovese grapes. Fruit driven with aromas of cherries and plums, this wine has a lovely warmth to it and hints of spice.
2018 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Caldora - Abruzzo
Montepulciano is one of Italy's most widely planted grape varities. This wine is has lots to offer. Fruity, full-bodied and round on the palate with ripe plum and blackberry character. The fruit is balanced by lovely acidity and hints of spice and vanilla.
2018 Chianti Superiore, Le Due Arbie - Tuscany, Italy
A staple Italian red for pairing with food is a young Chianti and this fits the bill perfectly. Ripe red cherry character joined with some subtle sweet spice notes, a brightness on the palate and a juicy, savoury finish. Pair this with a tomato pasta or some grilled red meat and you're in for a happy meal.
2019 Valpolicella Classico, Le Salette - Veneto, Italy
Fresh with an abundance of ripe cherry, and wild berries, lively acidity, with an elegant finish. Perfect with Pasta dishes!
